Product Marketing Manager – Mobile S/W Applications

Pelican Imaging is looking for an individual with strong strategic and tactical marketing capabilities to assist in the strategy development and to drive the execution of our mobile platform ISV engagement program to assure the successful adoption of our world changing technology.

Responsibilities

•    MRD ownership including articulating and understanding customer requirements, leading product development
      teams through customer and market segmentation, targeting, developing the value proposition and selling it
•    Developing value maps, value proposition, competitive analysis and response, business case development
      and strategic pricing models
•    Position company products to take advantage of market growth opportunities by analyzing market structure;
      market and technology trends, preparing and communicating plans that support implementation of these initiatives
•    Develop sales and management of programs related to ISV engagements and partnerships utilizing Pelican
      Imaging’s disruptive imaging capabilities
•    Maintain a great level of understanding of association market trends sales
•    Attend consumer trade shows and customer interaction marketing plans in various markets to promote products
•    SDK definition
•    ISV partner program management
•    Driving cohesive messaging and integrated solutions into the market through coordinating value proposition
      content for products
•    Strategic customer interaction
•    Collateral support material development
•    Develop and execute Roll-Out plans

Requirements

•    CSEE or equivalent
•    5+ years technical experience in imaging software development on mobile platforms
•    3+ years marketing experience in social network, image storage enhancement markets
•    Deep knowledge of supply chains in high volume consumer imaging S/W markets, with an emphasis on
      mobile phone cameras
•    Proven ability of engaging ISVs for new technology adoption
•    Proven ability to drive large complex product development programs to successful on-time launch
•    Excellent communication skills
•    Good interpersonal skills

Desireable

•    MBA
•    Good understanding of digital photography and image quality
